One of the oldest snowmobiling organizations in the U.S., VAST is a non-profit, private group that includes 138 clubs statewide, with over 35,000 members combined. The clubs and their steadfast volunteers are the backbone of the organization. Their site contains maps and much other useful information.

Lake Champlain BikewaysAs many of you know, there has been a tremendous surge in interest in recreational as well as vacation biking. Vermont is among the country's leaders in establishing and promoting the state as a biker's paradise. One can now literally bike around Lake Champlain staying at various inns along the way. One can also stay at wonderful inns (like ours) and use them as a base to bike the area. Lake Champlain Bikeways can provide maps as well as a wealth of other information about biking the entire region. Don't forget to ask for a map of the Missiquoi Valley Rail Trail which runs not far from Buck Hollow Farm.
Two dedicated Vermont based guides are ready to take you on a guided walk to some of your favorite places in Vermont, the US and the British Isles. Tours can range from 3 to 8 days or even longer. What a healthy and interesting way to go.
